AM I A CANDIDATE?
- Patients who have had prior eyelid surgery and are dissatisfied with their results — whether due to functional concerns such as dry eye or inability to close the eyes, or aesthetic concerns such as asymmetry or unnatural appearance — are candidates for revision consultation with Dr. Gordon. A detailed evaluation of the original surgical changes and current anatomy guides the revision plan.
THE PROCEDURE
Revision blepharoplasty is highly individualized. Techniques may include releasing scar tissue, repositioning the eyelid crease, adding volume through fat transfer, placing a skin or mucosal graft to restore lost tissue, or carefully adjusting the levator muscle. The specific approach is determined after thorough evaluation of the prior surgery and the patient's current anatomy.
