AM I A CANDIDATE?
- Candidates are patients who have had prior filler treatments and are dissatisfied with the results, whether due to overfilling, asymmetry, poor product selection, incorrect injection plane, or filler migration. Dr. Gordon will evaluate the location, type, and amount of existing filler before recommending a revision plan.
THE PROCEDURE
For hyaluronic acid fillers, hyaluronidase is injected into the affected area to enzymatically dissolve excess or misplaced filler. The dose is carefully titrated to dissolve only what is necessary. Once the correction has been confirmed — typically within 24 to 48 hours — fresh filler may be placed in the correct plane and quantity to achieve the desired outcome.
