Non-Surgical Rejuvenation
PDO Thread Lift for Skin Tightening
Minimal Downtime
OVERVIEW
PDO (polydioxanone) thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure that uses biodegradable sutures placed beneath the skin to lift sagging tissue and stimulate collagen production. As the threads dissolve over several months, they leave behind a framework of new collagen that maintains the lift and improves skin quality long after the threads themselves are gone.
BENEFITS
Immediate lifting effect with progressive collagen stimulation
Biodegradable threads dissolve naturally over 6–12 months
Minimal downtime — most patients return to activities within days
Can be used in multiple facial areas including the brow, cheek, and jowl
Suitable as a standalone treatment or to complement injectables
AM I A CANDIDATE?
- Ideal for patients with mild to moderate skin sagging who want a visible lift without surgery. Best results are seen in patients with good baseline skin quality and moderate tissue laxity. Those with severe sagging or very thin skin may not achieve satisfactory improvement and should consider surgical options.
THE PROCEDURE
Under local anesthesia, fine cannulas are used to insert PDO threads in a precise pattern beneath the skin in the targeted area. Barbed threads anchor to the tissue and are drawn taut to create an immediate lift. Smooth threads are used in areas requiring collagen stimulation rather than mechanical lifting. The entire procedure takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes.
