Non-Surgical Rejuvenation
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Therapy
Minimal Downtime
OVERVIEW
PRP therapy harnesses the body's own healing potential by concentrating growth factors from the patient's blood and reintroducing them into areas requiring tissue repair and rejuvenation. The high concentration of platelets stimulates collagen production, accelerates tissue regeneration, and improves skin quality in a completely natural way.
BENEFITS
Uses the patient's own blood — no synthetic materials or allergens
Stimulates natural collagen and elastin production
Improves skin texture, tone, and overall quality
Can be combined with microneedling for enhanced penetration
Accelerates healing after laser or surgical procedures
AM I A CANDIDATE?
- PRP therapy is appropriate for patients seeking gradual, natural-looking skin improvement, and for those who have undergone other aesthetic procedures and wish to accelerate healing. It can be used across multiple facial areas including under the eyes, cheeks, and along the jawline. Patients taking blood thinners or with clotting disorders should discuss this with Dr. Gordon prior to treatment.
THE PROCEDURE
A small blood sample is drawn from the patient and placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other blood components. The concentrated PRP is then applied to the treatment area through micro-injections or combined with microneedling for deeper dermal penetration. The procedure is performed in-office with topical anesthetic and takes approximately 45 minutes.
