AM I A CANDIDATE?
- RF microneedling is suitable for patients across a wide range of skin types with concerns about skin laxity, texture irregularities, large pores, or early jowling. It is an excellent option for patients seeking more significant tightening than standard microneedling but who are not ready for surgical intervention. Active acne or skin infections in the treatment area are temporary contraindications.
THE PROCEDURE
A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment. The RF microneedling device delivers energy through an array of precisely controlled needles at adjustable depths (0.5–4mm), targeting the dermis where collagen and elastin fibers reside. Energy delivery settings are customized for each patient and treatment area. A series of three to four treatments spaced four to six weeks apart is typically recommended.
